Claim Attachments
Sending attachments electronically along with your initial electronic dental and medical claim submissions saves time, money and paper. As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce paper usage, ensure efficient claims processing and increase electronic communications and transactions, we encourage you to use this feature.
Attachments include:
- X-rays
- Chart notes
- Accident reports
- Operative reports
- Laboratory reports
- Dental or medical records
- Certificates of medical necessity
We have partnered with the following vendors for electronic claims attachments:
MEA's and NEA's FastAttach™ application is Windows-based and compatible with all medical practice management systems. This application may be used by any Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)-compliant claims clearinghouse. Simply scan a document or capture an image stored on your computer and send it electronically.

Office Ally is a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)-compliant clearinghouse based in California that offers Web-based transmission and tracking for CMS-1500, UB-04 and ADA J400-J404 claim forms.
Registered providers can submit attachments when requested by Regence with their online dental or medical claim using the Office Ally web portal at no cost.
