Electronic funds transfer offers many advantages
Claim payments may be deposited directly into your bank
account. If you are not already receiving electronic payments, we
encourage you to consider the following advantages:
- Fast, secure delivery of claims payments
- Elimination of lost or stolen checks
- Elimination of trips to the bank to deposit checks
In addition, existing software at many provider offices can automatically reconcile payments received against claims posted when electronic funds transfer (EFT) is used in combination with electronic remittance advices (ERA).
