Reminder: Hearing aid claims for Boeing members
When submitting hearing aid claims for Boeing members,
it is important to bill each hearing aid separately with the applicable
modifier for the left and right ears. If they are billed as binaural,
the correct benefit cannot be applied. Hearing aid claims received
without Modifier LT Left side (used to identify
procedures performed on the left side of the body) or Modifier
RT Right side (used to identify procedures performed
on the right side of the body) may be returned to you for rebilling.
Billing with the correct modifier(s) will help ensure claims are
processed promptly.
